| West Coast Small Animal Acupuncture Program Outline |
The Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine, located in Reddick, Florida, USA has been training licensed veterinarians in both basic and advanced Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) skills since 1998. In 2007, in response to many requests by West Coast veterinarians, we launched our first basic acupuncture training in Sacramento, California in order to bring this work to veterinarians who were eager to learn it, but |

unable to travel across the country to attend all the sessions required. We restructured the format so that we could deliver the same curriculum at the same high quality level, with only one trip to Florida required for the graduation session. Students will learn acupuncture points on small animals only. The program includes 40 hours lab (30%). A lab instructor with a lab animal is assigned to each group, usually 4-5 students per group, to provide each student individual attention and more hands-on experience. This well-designed class is coming to you. We hope that you will enjoy this great opportunity.

Student Feedbacks:
“I cannot believe how the journey I began when I first signed up for this course has transformed and revitalized my excitement and approach to veterinary medicine. The Chi Institute as a whole is a “class act” and should be applauded for its whole approach to teaching TCVM, as well as taking care of its students needs. Thank you”
Micki McCabe, DVM, Clayton, CA – West Coast Veterinary Acupuncture Class 2008.

As always, an unbelievable class, wonderful, helpful, informative in a very nice location with great instructors! (The labs were especially well organized + a great learning environment). The teamwork shows from the classes to the labs to the herbal/acupuncture store to the snacks + family dinner on Friday! The perfect way to learn, we thank you!”
